Joseph Rooyakkers

Joe was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, with a mid-western small town philosophy. It's here that his father taught him lessons in life and in the family insurance practice. He set an example of caring about clients as neighbors, treating their savings and insurance planning with the same financial respect as he would care for his own.

Joe, in his 24th year in the business, spent seven years in financial services in Wisconsin before he arrived in Grand County in 2000 as the Investment Team Leader for Community First Bank.

He began Wealth Management Services in January, 2005, and is known as both professional and patient, with an active management style. He wants his customers to feel comfortable, and he is available to help them become knowledgeable as investors.

Over the last 10 years there has been significant changes to the economy. Joe stresses it is important now more than ever to dedicate his time to studying market conditions as well as opportunities. At the same time he enjoys meeting with most of his clients on a quarterly basis.

Joe has been a member of the Winter Park Fraser Valley Chamber of Commmerce since his firm's inception as well as a member of the Fraser River Valley Lions Club where he has served as vice-president and president.

Joe is familiar as a local musician, playing his guitar and entertaining with song, often at charity events while still doing what he came to the mountains to do; skiing, hiking and camping.
